Job description
The fundamental role of an auditor is to report to the shareholders as to whether the company's annual accounts show a true and fair view of the company's financial activity. As well as to ensure that the accounts are presented in conformity with the prevailing legal and regulatory requirements. As an auditor at KPMG, you will be doing much more than just looking at the company's financial records. You'll be finding out as much as you can about the whole company, the way it works, its products or services, its technology, its competitors and the industry in which it operates.
Tasks
As an audit-trainee you'll be working within an audit team, where you'll assist in the audit of the annual account of several clients. This includes amongst other things:
As an audit-trainee you'll be working both at the client and at the office. An internship in our Audit department gives you the opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge to use.
Requirements
You will soon hold a university degree in Commercial Engineering, Commercial Sciences or (Applied) Economic Sciences. A master in Accountancy is an asset. While we believe academic qualifications are an important pointer as to how you might succeed at our firm, these are far from being the only thing you'll be assessed on.
